Little Trendsetters Baby Carrier Drool Pads Review {Sponsor Spotlight} #Just4BabyHop

I didn't realize how important drool pads were for my carrier until I got my little one in it. He was constantly chewing on the straps. After spending over $100 on an organic cotton ergo carrier, I didn't want his saliva to wear down the natural fibers too fast. So I came across these beautiful handmade sucking pads from Little Trendsetters, on Etsy. There are so many great patterns and designs to choose from AND they are reversible! Kristy was kind enough to send me two sets, one with velcro and the other with snaps.

Kristy Willie started Little Trendsetters over a year and a half ago. She strives to provide good quality products at an affordable price. She only sells products that she would use herself.
"I LOVE doing what I do. It allows me to stay home and be with my girls and yet do something I enjoy when they are sleeping."
When she isn't sewing she loves to spend time four wheeling, camping, reading, watching movies, playing at the park or in the water. Kristy is inspired by her children. She enjoys watching their faces light up when she gives them something mommy-made!

From Little Trendsetters I chose the blue/owl and guitar/circle patterns. The owls have velcro and the guitars have snaps.

Features:
Protect your carrier
Easy to wash
Reversible
Easy on/off
Cute patterns
Fun ribbons for baby
Loop to hang toys
Made of cotton

My experience with them:
I have been wanting drool pads since I got my carrier. These are so convenient to have. I keep a pair on the carrier at all times now. Both the snaps and velcro are easy to put on and remove. They are very well made. They are turned and stitched along the outside. Vallon loves to play with the little ribbons on them. Sometimes I attach Vallons pacifier to one while we are out and about.

Since I had two pairs I decided to try to find more uses for these. The cute patterns are just too hard to stuff away in a drawer! I used them to cover the plastic parts on a bouncer and I even put one on my arm to let Vallon chew on it while I held him. It caught all the drool! :)

Snaps or velcro?
After trying both, I think I like the snaps better. I know from using cloth diapers that snaps have a longer life. They are also easier to wash. Velcro is a little easier to put on and take off though.

What do I ♥ about them?
So many things...I love that they are handmade and reversible! It is like having four pairs instead of two. They are made of cotton and don't pill. The patterns are so unique and cute. There are so many combinations to choose from or you can make a custom order. I also love the prices. These are some of the most affordable drool pads I have seen.

I love that these are handmade. They are very well made and you can tell that a lot of time went into each and every pair.

What would I change?
Kristy sends all of her drool pads with little plastic chains, that connect to a ribbon loop, for hanging toys. They are cute but I am not a big fan of plastic. I think it would be great to have a little velcro or snap loop made with a ribbon instead or as an upgrade option. These also came in a plastic bag. Being the eco-nut that I am... I would prefer less plastic with the packaging. Although, I do plan to reuse the bag I know most people wont.

What do I think overall?
No carrier should go without drool/sucking pads! The drool pads from Little Trendsetters are high quality at a great price. I highly recommend them. It was great working with Kristy and I can say with confidence that if you purchase from her you will receive wonderful customer service.
